Haba Crooak Frog Clutching Toy Review: Cute Wooden Baby Teether

HABA Croo-ak Frog Clutching Toy Review: Cute Wooden Baby Teether

Haba's Frog Rattle one of my baby's favorite toys. I was hesitant at first about spending $10 on what is essentially a teether and rattle, but I am glad I did.

After the sixth plastic baby toy from my shower was recalled, I got very fed up with plastic, made-in-China toys and started researching other options. Now, I almost exclusively buy Haba toys for my daughter because of their high quality and "fun factor."

This lens is a review of the Haba Frog Clutching Toy.

HABA Frog Rattle Review

Are Haba Toys Worth the Money?

The "Croo-ak" Clutching Toy by Haba is an adorable, bright green, jingly frog wooden rattle. This toy is so well made, you will find it hard to believe it is not some expensive vintage collectable. The frog toy is made from renewably sourced beech wood and non-toxic paint.

My daughter loved the noises the little froggie rattle made while she was playing with the toy. The little frog feet are shaped like balls, and they make a cute clacking sound (okay, it's not that cute after 30 minutes!) when she shakes (or bites!) the toy. The string that is inside the body of the frog is sturdy, and I haven't had any issues with the parts coming loose.

The Haba website recommends an age range of six months and up, but my daughter enjoyed looking at and playing with this toy as soon as she was born. The Haba frog rattle is smaller than some of the other Haba clutching toys (around 4 inches), but it is a nice size for baby's hands. This is definitely a "keeper."

Haba Allezhoop Clutching Toy Review

HABA Allezhoop Clutching Toy Review: Just Clowning Around

Haba's Allezhoop Baby Toy is a fun, quality-made wooden toy. The colorful little clowns flip and twirl and provide lots of tactile stimulation for baby. But is it really appropriate for a six-month-old baby?

Read on for my complete review of the Allezhoop Clown Clutching Toy from Haba.

The Allezhoop baby toy from Haba is an interactive, "high-flying" circus-themed baby toy. The two happy clowns spin around, aided by baby's shaking (or smacking repeatedly on the kitchen table!). This clutch toy is "squishy," and my daughter enjoyed smashing the Allezhoop flat and then letting it quickly pop back up.

The Allezhoop also makes lots of noise (besides the baby-provided percussion) via the addition of a brightly tinkling bell. If you have a baby that loves to "jingle bells," he will absolutely love playing with this cool toy. The little rings also click and clack back and forth, which makes the whole thing sound like a mini mariachi band.

The Haba Allezhoop is a "clutching toy" because it is not small enough to be used as a teether. This is definitely a six-months plus toy because it is too bulky for small babies to hold and play with.

Haba's normal price point for baby toys is between $8 and $15. This toy is more expensive (around $25) because it is MUCH more substantial than the smaller rattles and other clutching toys. The Allezhoop is something your little one will continue to play with into toddlerhood.

Haba Rainbow Clutching Toy: Beautiful Wood Baby Rattle

The Haba Rainbow Rattle is a beautiful baby toy with real visual appeal. The sparkly beads, with mirrors and floral accents, will engage your child with delight.

If ever a toy deserved the description of "charming," it would be this rainbow "bracelet" rattle. But is this Haba baby rattle worth the $13 price? Read my complete review to discover all of the particulars about this darling toy.

This adorable Haba Rainbow Rattle is so cute you will wish you could wear it as a bracelet. But, as cute as it is, the toy is also incredibly sturdy. The round, rainbow-hued beads are visually stimulating, and the mirror accents on the beads add incredible sparkle and shine to the rattle.

Each of the round rainbow beads twist and turn as your baby plays with the toy. The colors are vibrant, the shiny foil shapes and mirrors are visually stimulating and it's the right size for gripping little hands. The circular wooden shapes are adorned with different patterns and reflective elements to keep my baby simply curious.

Older toddlers will not outgrow the Haba Rainbow Clutching Toy because it is so pretty it can be easily used for dress-up, or even for "treasure" during a game of pirates. Haba toys are so sturdy they will last for a lifetime.

HABA Rosella Clutching Toy Review

The Haba Rosella Rattle is a sweet, "girly" wooden rattle and teether that is the prettiest baby toy money can buy. Complete with hot pink ponytails, freckles, and a blue smile, this clacking rattle provides auditory and visual stimulation for your baby.

The Rosella Clutching Toy from Haba is so much more than just a baby rattle. The sweet, smiling face of Rosella brings a grin to my daughter's face even today at 21-months-old. She now uses if for a "dolly" and sometimes even puts on "plays" with the toy!

The lime green wooden beads "clack" together and make a musical, pleasing sounds. The round beads at the ends of the string "arms" can be twirled back and forth more additional auditory delights. However, the sound is never overwhelming like the loud, noisy electronic toys so prevalent today.

The Rosella rattle is made of beech wood and is painted with non-toxic paint. The toy is made in Germany and adheres to the rigorous European Union standards of toy manufacturing. I heartily recommend this great toy!
