HABA Allezhoop Clutching Toy Review: Just Clowning Around
Haba's Allezhoop Baby Toy is a fun, quality-made wooden toy. The colorful little clowns flip and twirl and provide lots of tactile stimulation for baby. But is it really appropriate for a six-month-old baby?

The Allezhoop baby toy from Haba is an interactive, "high-flying" circus-themed baby toy. The two happy clowns spin around, aided by baby's shaking (or smacking repeatedly on the kitchen table!). This clutch toy is "squishy," and my daughter enjoyed smashing the Allezhoop flat and then letting it quickly pop back up.
The Allezhoop also makes lots of noise (besides the baby-provided percussion) via the addition of a brightly tinkling bell. If you have a baby that loves to "jingle bells," he will absolutely love playing with this cool toy. The little rings also click and clack back and forth, which makes the whole thing sound like a mini mariachi band.
The Haba Allezhoop is a "clutching toy" because it is not small enough to be used as a teether. This is definitely a six-months plus toy because it is too bulky for small babies to hold and play with.
Haba's normal price point for baby toys is between $8 and $15. This toy is more expensive (around $25) because it is MUCH more substantial than the smaller rattles and other clutching toys. The Allezhoop is something your little one will continue to play with into toddlerhood.
